MUV'S 16’ X 26’ custom chicken coop "LA COOP DE 'VILLE" located here in Purcellville, in Northern, VA, boasts a main house wrapped in natural stone and a fully-enclosed run. Its multi-purpose, robust design has 6, side-by-side, raised, interior 12” X 12” nesting boxes, providing safety and comfort for egg-layers while allowing for convenient, external access for egg collection. The roof has a high-grade, all-weather, shingled design, rivaling that of the industry standard for custom residential homes.
The build process for "La Coop de 'Ville" began during COVID in the summer of 2020 with a vision and a design sketched at the dinner table. We put our guys on the job and before we knew it, the build had begun. The finished coop added so much to the property, matching the stone that we placed on the exterior and interior of the house.
Inside, you will find a dual-bar roosting system, a three-window ventilation feature for proper airflow, and an internal door-and-step-ladder system that leads from the elevated house to the expansive run. The floor-to-ceiling fencing grid extends wall-to-wall and continues underground two additional feet, making it predator-proof to keep chickens safe from other animals both above and underground. Complete with flagstone steps, patio and entryway, this deluxe coop enhances the look of the property and will stand firm for the enjoyment of generations to come.
